Hello, I’m Debbie Thornton a elopement photographer in Torridon and the west Highlands of Scotland. Based right here in Wester Ross, in the Scottish Highlands. I shoot natural, emotional photography for laid-back couples in wild, beautiful places. Some of the areas I cover are; Torridon, Gairloch, Shieldaig, Ullapool and Lochinver, Assynt. Since 2009, I’ve been honoured to quietly witness and capture the authentic love stories of laid-back couples who cherish simplicity, connection, and peacefulness.
A West Coast native and sensitive soul, I see the beauty in my surroundings. My approach is gentle and unobtrusive, allowing your day to unfold naturally while I document the genuine, unscripted moments that make your day uniquely yours. My style is deeply influenced by the landscapes I love.
I love the simple joys in life: time spent with my husband and son, quiet walks, growing roses, the sea, a good book, and practicing yoga. These loves shape how I see the world and how I capture your day with honesty, warmth, and respect.
